Awkward! Nicole Kidman returned to Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on Thursday, November 17, and revealed he didn’t just blow his chances of dating her once, but twice. Hear her hilarious story in the video above!
The new interview comes two years after she embarrassed the host by telling him he’d passed up the opportunity to take her out, before she met her husband, Keith Urban.
Although at first she admitted, “I so didn’t want to come back,” she then practically jumped at the opportunity to make Fallon blush once more.
“The past is the past so let’s leave it that way,” Fallon said, trying to steer the conversation away from what happened last time.
But Kidman, 49, who was promoting her new movie Lion, hilariously forged on.
“There’s more to the story,” she smirked.
“We were at David Fincher’s house and it was when Brad [Pitt] and Jen [Aniston] were still together, so it was a long time ago, and you could have asked for my number then, because it was round two, second chance, and you still didn’t ask for it, and you know that’s true. So do not pretend.”
Fallon, 42, looked completely stunned as he desperately tried to recall the moment.
“It’s even more offensive that you don’t remember,” Kidman added. “Do you remember the kitchen and the buffet?
“We were lurking in the kitchen, everyone went out, and I’m, like, waiting and waiting, and you’re, like, at the buffet, and you still didn’t ask for my number, so you are so not interested, and it’s OK.”
To make matters worse for him, Kidman then introduced her hubby, who Fallon had no idea was coming on the show.
After serenading him, Urban, 49, joined in the fun and helped his wife poke fun at Fallon for his missed opportunity.
