Brat Pack-er Nelson won raves as high school criminal John Bender in 1985's The Breakfast Club opposite Emilio Estevez and Anthony Michael Hall, among others. He later went on to earn acclaim in St. Elmo's Fire as Alec Newbary. In the years since his '80s film success, Nelson costarred with Brooke Shields in Suddenly Susan and in films including Airheads and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
