"I've started dating again," she told Us at a Scott Barnes book launch event in NYC Wednesday. "I have a few men who are courting me, so that’s always nice!"

LuAnn, 44, tells Us that her suitors have done sweet things to win her over.

"It's about the intention behind the actions," she says. " It's about showing the other person that you really care and are thinking of them. It’s about making someone feel special."

Although she filed for divorce from her husband, Count Alex de Lesseps, in March after learning that he met another woman in Europe, she tells Us she is proud that they have maintained a civil relationship.

"I’ve been able to do it because I have other people to consider, which are my children," she says of her two kids, Victoria and Noel. "It’s not just about me. Because the best thing for them is for us to remain friends, so that’s what we’ve done. He’s one of my biggest supporters actually, which is great."
