Twilight's Kristen Stewart: Playing Bella Is "Annoying"

Kristen Stewart is no fan of the fame that comes with starring in Twilight.
"I'd like to take more walks after work, instead of having to come back to my hotel room and not leave. So it can be boring," The actress, 19, tells the 40th Anniversary issue of Interview magazine.

"I've been working as an actress since I was very young, and I know a lot of people who are actors who don't have to deal with having a persona," Stewart -- who got her big break starring in Panic Room at age 9 -- goes on. "The whole meaning of the word is that it's made up, and it's like I didn't even get to make up my own. It can be annoying."
"Some nights, I think, 'You know what? I don't care. I'm just going to do what I want to do.' Then the next day I think, 'Ugh. Now everyone thinks I'm going out to get the attention.' But it's like, no, I actually, for a second, thought that maybe I could be like a normal person," she says.

But Stewart doesn't think she'll always be so famous.
"I have a really strong feeling that this is going to go away, that this is the most intense it's going to get -- and could get -- and that it's fleeting," she says. "So in a few years, I will hopefully become more like the people I want to become like."

If her whole career involved filming the vampire flicks, she laments that she "would have been a psychopath by the end of a four-year stint on the Twilight saga without anything like that to change it up."
Even though she's over the stardom, her parents couldn't be more excited, Stewart says.
"My dad is ridiculous. He's, like, embarrassingly proud. He really goes overboard, like walking around with magazines and sh--. When this comes out, if this is mentioned in the magazine, he's going to walk around the set and be like, 'Hey, look at what my kid said,'" she says.

I loved the books they are a great read. I think she is maybe a little young, Bella is meant to be 18 but I think they should have cast somebody older who looks young and have them deliver a more powerful and true to the book performance. I think the casting for the characters of victoria, laurent and James were great. The Vicoria chase scene in new moon was excellent. I do think it's gone for both Stewart and Pattinson from being quite unknown to massive with teens and they are a huge market and I know if I was 18 Id find it overwhelming. I do think Pattinsons performance cant be faulted though, true to the book. -

I understand what she is saying. I couldn't imagine not being able to go out and just look at the stars without hundreds of ppl attacking! I am not basing my opinion merely on this article, but also on interviews I have seen of her (some she was made to do,not wanting to promote the movies as agreed upon) she seems to be in general very negative about these roles, or just be a negative person. I don't feel she was the best choice for Bella, but she got the role, so be it. I have little sympathy for her. There are many young actors who get into this situation.Life is about how you deal with things. Think of how many people in this country that have lost their jobs, are homeless etc.Be grateful for what you are given.When you choose a high profile profession,you must have some clue as to what comes with it.I have seen other actors who thank God to be working. It is not like she is winning any Oscars here.Look at someone like Leo DiCaprio,who has been acting since a child.Realy acting. He was hounded by female fans after Titanic, yet he held his head high and was very gracious.The key word, gracious.By the way, she is not the most famous actress in the world right now, she maybe if your 15. Get real people. She is gonna live.She just has a lot of growing up to do. She is a whiny teenager. Take it from a mom of a teens, it comes with the territory. -

If US Weekly actually read the article then they would have known she never said anything about playing Bella was annoying. Why do some of these stupid gossip mag like to tear down and put stupid headline like this on a 19 yr old actress who was nothing but greatful for the role and able to explore her more in NM & Eclipse. She nowhere states in her interview for INTERVIEW MAGAZINE (DO YOU US WEEKLY MAKE A HABBIT OUT OF STEALING FROM OTHER MAGS?) that she finds playing the role of Bella boring nor does it state she hates Twilight. I am so fed up with these articles making her out to be a bitch. She is the most honest actress I know. She is an amazing actress and its a shame that SOME magazines want to tare her down and dirty her name. Some of these statements are taken out context. SO for all you who think that she is hating on Twilight or the character Bella you should read the full article in the magazine that the interview actually came out in. THIS is all a bunch of crap. SO don't hate on her until you read the real interview. I think she was honest and some people don't want to hear how most actors/actresses really feel, and they can't handle it when they are. We bitch about our jobs all the time. What, is not aloud too? Give the kid a break. She is prisoner in her own hotel room cause all ass Twilight freaks. I wouldn't be smiling either.
