Lily Allen is setting the record straight: She's not retiring from the music biz.
Rumors that the 24-year-old British pop singer -- known for her hits "Smile" and "Oh My God" -- has ditched her career are completely untrue.
"[Lily] is definitely not retiring. It's all been taken out of context," the singer's rep told Usmagazine.com in a statement Friday.

The reports surfaced after the singer posted a blog entry on her anti-music piracy site, It's Not Alright, telling fans she did not re-up her contract with EMI Records.
"Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record. I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade," Allen wrote in a post that has since been deleted.

Allen's triple-platinum second album, It's Not Me, It's You, hit store shelves in February, and the singer has been touring the record overseas.
"Lily is not thinking about future work because she is still promoting her current album," says the rep.
