Pesonally I think there is nothing wrong with that. I mean god doesn't care what you're wearing. If the peole in the Church thought that was horrible then that is not the best church. You shouldn't be judged but what you're wearing

I do not think it is wrong to wear sweats to church, because god does not care, after all Adam and Eve started out naked! I am the mother of three teenagers and I am happy that I can just get them to church, so I am not real picky about what they wear, as long as it is not dirty or revealing. Also, the photo, I think it was meant for Zach and Zach alone, not everyone in the universe. Also, your children will make their own choices in life and they alone are responsible for their actions, so people need to stop blaming others for what their children do!

i think it's fine to wear sweats, i mean, i wear jeans and a niceish shirt every time...i never wear skirts to church b/c i don't really like them...but it doesn't matter...all that matters is where your heart is during church. what if a homeless person came to church and their clothes were completey torn and they couldn't afford any others? would God judge them? no! God loves people for who they r, for what's on the inside...not what's on the outside. i don't even think this should be a topic to talk about, it's stupid and all we're doing is judging her when we have no idea what's going on with her...i'm not gonna judge her, i think she should just live her life and that the media just needs to back off...it's her life not anyone else's.

At least she went to Church: God doesn't care what you wear, the most important thing is that she was there, and I think people should leave her alone. You don't have to wear dresses, formal or casual, to church. Man made up those rules, not God. God doesn't care what you wear, he cares about your heart.

I once had a pastor tell me that "God is with you when you are sitting on the toilet". So no, it does not matter what she was wearing. What matters is what is in her heart and on her mind.

I completely agree with your statement that "Sweats, ripped jeans and shorts are a definite no-no." I was also raised in a church where the women wore dresses (or if they went casually, they wore long skirts and nice blouses), and the men wore suits. Even now, I still think that way, even though my current church (not the one I grew up in) seems to promote tank tops, blue jeans, and flip-flops as acceptable clothing. I think it's because in my old church, they had a saying: "Put on your Sunday best." But now, the dress code has been much more relaxed, so that more people will feel welcome to attend. I can't bring myself to say that I agree with it, but I personally prefer to stick to my roots. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who thinks that way.

I honestly think people are over exaggerating on the Nude photos. I'm not a parent, but I do have younger siblings who look up to Vanessa Hudgens, and for some parents to think that she's influencing their kids the wrong way is completely idiotic. If you want to worry about how you're kids are being influenced why don't you keep an eye on who they're mocking. For example: Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, etc. I mean c'mon, one nude photo is nothing compared to a series of drug abuses, under-age drinking, rehab stints, pronagraphy, photos with knives, potential child-abuse, and not wearing underwear to a childrens' event. Vanessa Hudgens intended that photo to go to her boyfriend, and if you're so self-righteous as to think she intended for a photo of herself to go out into the public, when she knows she's considered an idol by millions of kids, then I really do pity you.

I hope you don't let your kids stop watching High School Musical just because something slipped up once, and I truly hope you don't judge Vanessa Hudgens for this one thing when others, that are unfortunately more influential, have done ALOT more terrible things.

It should not matter what she is dressed in as long as she is in church. It only truely matters if she is praying and asking for forgiveness from God in church.
