Eminem was briefly hospitalized for pneumonia over the holidays in Detroit.
In a statement, a rep for the rapper, 35, told Usmagazine.com:
“Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."
TMZ.com first reported the news.
He filed for divorce from his wife, Kimberley Mathers, for the second time, in 2006.

7:23 - It's on the TMZ story site. I don't know if it's true though. he always seemed like he was pretty fit and buff. But if he's on steriods for the pneumonia, that could help lead to weight gain.
