This is an odd yet riveting new drama series. Meet Walter (Bryan Cranston), a chemist turned high school teacher who's in a serious pickle. His wife is pregnant, his son has cerebral palsy and he has terminal cancer. What to do? Secretly start up a crystal-meth business with a cocky student (Aaron Paul). Though the Weeds-style shenanigans can be far-fetched, Cranston's shattering performance and the show's cinema-like execution make Bad truly good. (AMC, 10 p.m.)
