This lazily enjoyable adventure comedy has battling exes Tess (Kate Hudson) and Finn (Matthew McConaughey) reunited in pursuit of a treasure lost at sea. She’s the reliable brain; her ex-husband’s the flaky brawn. Set in the Caribbean — though it was shot in Australia! — the flick has a boisterous, breezy vibe, and the gorgeous ocean ripples nearly as much as McConaughey’s torso (he’s largely shirtless, and mostly in swimsuits). Still, it doesn’t take a Mensa certificate to figure out (spoiler alert!) that the pair will eventually triumph over a killer also aft er the jewels, find the gold and fall back in booty-ful love. And as for the chemistry between the leads, they seem more brother and sister than red-hot lovers.
