Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel stole some of her Methadone months before his death, Larry Birkhead testified at an inquest into the boy's death in the Bahamas today.
Birkhead said he reviewed surveillance tapes after some of Anna Nicole's Methadone went missing in April 2006. Footage showed Daniel and his friends stealing it, he testified, according to TMZ.com.
Birkhead claimed he noticed a drastic change in Daniel's personality between January and May 2006. On one occasion, Birkhead testified, Daniel threw a television set through a window.
He also claimed that Daniel was hospitalized for taking too much Valium in July 2006.
Daniel died at the age of 20 in September 2006 from an accidental overdose of Methadone and the anti-depressants Zoloft and Lexapro.
Anna Nicole died of an accidental overdose about five months later.

Daniel is energy and awesome! I lvoe his shows very much. I was told that his personal blog was found at a celeb singles club called (MILLMATCH DOT COM) or something just like that. But I don't think he has enough time for writing a blog on the internet. Maybe it's done by his fans.

Are they ever going to let this rest?? Daniel is dead and Anna is dead. Nothing that goes on now is going to bring them back. It was a horrible thing to have happened and I was unbelievably sad when I heard about both the death of Daniel and then Anna, but let them rest in peace. The whole thing is truly sad and is a horrible horrible tragedy. May you and your son rest in peace ANNA.

Daniel was doing what every other 20 year old in the country does: experiementing with drugs. It's no surprise except that one day he mixed them and it killed him. It's time to let both Daniel and Anna rest in peace. Dannielynn is the real victim here, growing up without her mother or brother.

I’ve said all along that Daniel was a 20 year old kid and he did what a lot of 20 years old kids do; he was wreckless with drugs. (I can't tell you about some of the stupid crap I did when I was his age) And what did we find out today??..He was reckless with drugs!..What a surprise! Better stop the presses for that one.
Now maybe all these idiot people/ Verige “please get my granddaughter away from that god awful HKS even though I’m going to file a last minute appeal that would have KEPT her with him” Arthur supporters who where actually dumb enough to believe that Daniel was murder will shut the hell up!.Yeah right. I guess that will happen when Vergie Arthur wins the mother/grandmother of the year award.

5:33pm: The people who where fighting Anna Nicole for the house at the time of her death, where G. Ben Thompson and his son-in-law Ford Shelley. They eventually threw in the towel; the house now officially belongs to the estate of Anna Nicole Smith aka Dannielynn.

this is sad. i want to know what happened to psycho howard stern. he was the one feeding the pills to them. where did he go? did he get any $ ? i read he is helping larry with the inheritance, etc. is that true? i thought larry supposedly didn't like howard. something is up.

That's really sad. Very tragic story of Anna Nicole and her family. I really hope this story and many other tragedies that have occured in the past year serve as a wake up call to celebs all over and to the retarded doctors who give them all of these dangerous pills.

Here is yet another story of how drugs destroy families. Its a real shame that both of their substance abuse problems weren't addressed earlier. Hopefully Larry will keep his daughter as far away from the limelight and allow her to have a normal childhood. If lucky these deaths may have been a wake up for many who have family/friends who use and stepped in to help.
