After A Maxim magazine poll rated Sarah Jessica Parker the “unsexiest woman alive,” the Sex and the City star — who called the story “brutal” — snapped back: “Am I really the unsexiest woman in the world? Wow! It's kind of shocking.”

SJP is actually really beautiful in person, I held her hand when i met her and wouldnt let go i was star struck she is sooo sweet she came and talked to me and my friends and would stop when she walked by for pics. No makeup whatsoever and she was teeny tiny to top it off. Ive seen a lot of other actresses in person and she was actually the prettiest. Her and her husband have these amazing reputations in the theater world as being very down to earth new yorkers who dont treat people like second class citizens. Maxim is disgusting and look at the trash they peddle. They are a bunch of overweight computer nerds

Who cares.shes ugly.BUT has money and can fix it if she TRULY wanted to,obviously she has an enormous amount of self confidence, and loves herself enough to talk about it. I know PLENTY of beautiful women that are "BEAUTIFUL" (surgically enhanced) but lack what Sarah has.and that is priceless!
Who cares about beauty, it only last from about 18 until about 30.after that.you have better have LOTS of money OR a sugar daddy for surgeries, and plenty more for personal trainers, facials, hair extensions, fake nails, laser, lasik, botox, etc.etc.in order to keep up with age and ungracefully welcome what nature is supposed to do.
No beauty is perfect!!and perfect is not beautiful!

Just when you thought the males species had evolved, here comes Maxim to educate us otherwise (Thanks guys). Well I hope for all of your sakes someone with authority such as the benevolent Maxim will wage a campaign to eradicate all the "ugly" unsexy women with brains from television. Afterall it's all about what Maxim and their disciples think, right? I say put those "horse-faced" girls back in the libraries and behind the lunch counters where they belong, or better yet start an Ugly Woman Penal Colony (Australia was one and look how well they are doing). Shame on HBO and TBS for having put you guys through the painful experience of having to watch the "hideous" face of SJP for so many years. I am sure they tried their best to get Jessica Biel just for you but it didnt work out. Now that the poll is out I am sure the world will right itself and soon all the ugly girls will just disappear. Hey why not just weed them out in grade school...save us all the trouble. Let's just hope there isnt a "Guys Who Are Full of Crap" Poll. Could be a long one...What do you look like by the way?

It is obvious that there are people (like RealityCheck) who not aware of how TV shows are produced. She is not the script writer and in the beginning she was hired by people who thought she could pull off the role as a sexy modern woman. So I guess they are wrong too. She was playing a part that she is now apparently being ridiculed for. She is an actress afterall and it's her job. It is just weird to me that so many people have been waiting for an opp to jump down this woman's throat and tell her how wrong she is to think she is sexy. Maybe most men do want their women to be dumb as bricks and aspire to be porn stars with no personal capabilities. I met her by the way with no makeup on and hanging with her family, and she seemed cool, happy and settled. If she was a troll (foot, horse, whatever) I think I might have noticed. She was actually quite pretty. Having the whole world think you're sexy might be cool but I guess there are some things that will always be more important than Maxim's poorly conceived, tasteless (but obviously sales driven) poll

That statement is just so wrong on so many levels. Sexy is a quality, not a commodity. Fake boobs and collagen lips - by their very presence - are a blatant admission of the absence of "sexy" and your assertion that the more you can afford, the more sexy you can be, is a clear indication of just how misguided people who hold this belief, truly are. Sarah Jessica Parker does look "steroidly" like a MAN. However, I read her story and learned she grew up on welfare. She and her sisters shared clothing. SJP started a clothing line for those low-income gals that wanna shop too, is involved in numerous charities, doesen't wear real fur, and she was absolutely amazing in Sex in the City and other movies as well. Maxim is trash and to state what they said about her is totally untrue, she may not be HO'llywood sexy, but she is far from being the unsexiest woman in the world or in the industry. I agree with you guys, she has class and the sister can wear some clothes. Point blank, she has it going on. Let's not forget she is also a trend setter.
