Hey ok, i do see where everyone is comming from however i do and do not support Jamie-Lynn!
If you look round your country or even your hometown there are loads of kids that are pregnant, the only reason tha makes what Jamie-Lynn has done so "terrible" is because she is famous!
It's her life, she may be making the biggest mistake ever but so what!
Why are people so bothered.
Is it such a crime to have sex when your that age and famous ?

I think if she is gonna raise the kid properly with her boyfriend/husband then good on her!

I was reading the comments below and I seen some things that slightly upset me. Jamie Lynn is a very beautiful strong girl. How do you people have the right to call her something, or say mean things about her. She is NOT trashy. She is young and may have made a bit of a mistake. Were all human we all make mistakes. Its so un-believable because she is famous, but look around in your home town, if you have teenage kids look around there are many pregnant teens. She is being a woman and takind responsibility for what she did, you dont know if she was on birth control that does not alway work. Look at some of the things that you did when you were younger, they dont make you any better the only difference is that she is famous and you werent. So many of you are comparing her to her sister and judging her for what britney did and how she is rasing her kids. Again, she is a human its normal, Jamie-lynn is not her sister. I think you all need to give her credit for trying to step up and be a great mother at such a young age. Im 18 I dont have kids but that dosent mean that i am any better. I have had a mis-carriage and I was on bc and used other preventions. My mother had me at 15 and let me just say she is NOT white trash, she did a DAMN good job a raising me.

If she was my daughter, sister or friend I would tell her to focus on the baby and not wearing stupid t-shirts to get attention. After all this is one bug cry for attention. She should be enrolled in a parenting class, getting herself together and not signing up for baby shower gifts, ,which you can easily do online. JLS is going to be in for a big surprise when the baby comes. On top of all that she's going to get married? Very bad idea.

I totally support Jamie she has a hard road a head of her but i support her.... And for all you that call her a whor and white trash GET OVER YOUR SELF. she is trying. hundreds of thousands of teens get pregnant every year what is the difference with her nothing this could easily happen to your children so stop saying it because you will think differently when it happens. just leave her alone i am proud of her trying to give her unborn child a life and at least she is taking responsibility for her actions I SUPPORT JAMIE ALL THE WAY.

And perhaps if they still persist in wanting to be like her, you should let them know that she has opportunities as a pregnant teen that most girls in her situation would never have. She'll probably be able to get back into acting at some point, and she already has money, and they have the resources for her to still go to college while either her mother or another family member or some paid care taker watches her child. Ultimately, it's not something anyone else has the right to weigh in on. She doesn't have to give her baby up for adoption because that's the consensus of the public, nor would she have to if her parents or his parents wanted her to. Like it or not, she has the right to make decisions about her body and her life and that's the way it should be because she's the one who will have to live with those decisions. And like it or not, she stepped into adulthood when she and her boyfriend slept together and at least she's taking responsibility for her child. The odds are against them for being engaged so young, but statistically, marriages that occur when people in their 30s or older don't necessarily work out any better than those amongst "high school sweethearts." I wish her luck because she will surely need it and I honestly hope that it works out for them. People are too quick to cast aspersions on the other peoples characters and the way they live their lives, when I think following the old saying of "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" would serve everyone well.

She is pregnant. I mean, there is your life-altering event right there. And people are talking about marriage changing her life, and for the worse? I see no evidence that the baby's father won't make a good husband and that she won't be happy married to him. It's like some people are trying to promote single motherhood at the expense of other people's happiness.
