Start the countdown!
The Halle Berry Celebrity Golf Classic, to begin on April 27, is the actress' chosen date to debut her postbaby body, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue, on newsstands now.
Berry, 41 — who gave birth on March 16 to Nahla (her daughter with beau Gabriel Aubry, 32) — is planning to show off the results of her workouts at the charity event. (Check out other hot post-baby bods here.)
"She wants to be back in fit form for the tournament," a source tells Us of the –weekend-long affair (which benefits the Jenesse Center's work for victimized women and children).
"She's thrilled to start exercising again," the source adds of the star, whose dialed-back pregnancy fitness regimen included yoga, swimming and light weights.
Berry also been "working on her golf game," says a second source (Aubry got her interested in hitting the links).
Check out Berry's bump days here.
Still, for Berry, nothing these days tops spending time at home. "Halle loves being a mom," the first source continues. "She is so happy."

well then I agree with number 11:17.
These stories need to stop!!
having a child early does not mean that you do drugs or are a bad parent. maybe Happy Person should stay on birth control and do the rest of us a favor. Dont ever populate the world, we have it under control. I have had three children and due to medical reason (not drugs) they were all under 7 pounds. my first was 5.4, second was 6.11, and the tird was 5.15. so if that makes me a bad parent then i wear the name proudly.
EVERYONE - ALWAYS LIST/USE A FAKE EMAIL ADDRESS AND NAME ON THIS SITE.
Um...you're kidding, right, US Weakly? She'll lose the baby weight the same way ALL celebrities (and very few real women) do: with personal trainers and special chefs cooking their meals. Good thing you're keeping tabs on it though, because we all know that the only acceptable time frame that a female star is allowed to be "fat" is when she's pregnant. So Halle better get cracking, before she goes from "cute baby bump" to "worthless fat hog."
Aren't you supposed to wait six weeks after giving birth to start exercising? Your body needs time to adjust first.
I'm sure Halle Berry will have one hot post-baby body once she shows it! She's a beautiful women, I'm sure her baby is too,? and so is her boyfriend, model, Gabriel Aubry! I'm not gay!
3:19 - I am a nurse and I co-run the DARE program at our school. Yeah, drugs are my friend..idiot. I'll never know why my daughter came early, maybe she knew we needed the tax deduction! ;)
3:19 - You're just foolish weirdo and can't do simple math. You're probably a lazy slob as well.
why do you care so much about Halle Berry and what she does in her private life...good for her for getting back in shape... what's wrong with that??
2:05 I just asked a question! If you didn't do drugs why are you all huffy and why was she born early? Oh God, I asked another question, go ahead and FREAK OUT! lol
12:50 I did NOT say that breastmilk will dry up if you breastfeed. It will dry up if you try to lose the baby weight in a short amount of time. That is not healthy for you or the baby.
Your breastmilk will dry up if you are only eating 1000 calories a day and working out at for two hours daily just to lose your baby weight. It's simple. You gotta eat AND breastfeed continuously to keep up the supply. If your body is not getting enough nutrition, how can your baby get any through your breastmilk? Bottom line is that your goal should be to stay healthy following the birth of your baby not to get back to a size 0!
Thanks for the edge-u-ma-cation :-)
1:46 - you're obviously an idiot. If you had a child you probably gained more than 15 pounds and so you're probably jealous or SOMETHING?? Everyone is different, my best friend gained 25lbs with both pregnancies and she ate very healthy. Did I do drugs? That's so damn foolish. Of course I didn't, I didn't even drink caffeine in any form. I just ate well and my baby girl came early. I had a great pregnancy, no problems whatsoever. My baby was perfectly normal for being that early, and she had an APGAR score of 7, which is great considering she was a tiny bit sleepy from the anesthesia I was given before the delivery.
Here's the basic math just for you my educated friend; in the last 4-5 weeks of pregnancy, babies will/should gain approximately a 1/2 pound every week until you deliver. So, had my baby been on-time, she would have weighed ALMOST 8 POUNDS, give or take a few ounces. So, go away and get a clue.
1:46
She said she had her baby 5 weeks early, hence the 5lb baby! Idiot!
1:13, a 5 lb baby is tiny. Were you doing drugs?
12:59 - Nah...I lost 13 pounds due to "morning sickness" in the first 2 months. Then gained back 13 pounds that was including the baby, the placenta, and water weight etc.. My baby girl came nearly 5 weeks early weighing 5lbs 6oz and was extremely healthy. We don't know why my water broke and I went into labor early, I was super-healthy. It might be good to note that I only ate ice cream 3-4 times, and pizza a couple times. Everything else was healthy, well-rounded meals and I ate fruits and veggies as snacks. Trust me, I ate very well but my "diet" did not include junk food or high-fat things like pasta with alfredo sauce or cheesecake. I really just wanted to have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
12:42 PM Anonymous Says:
Breastfeeding does help loosing baby weight. I did breastfeed my baby for 8 months and lost all baby weight. Luckily, I gained just 12 lbs throughout my pregnancy, but my back was hurt badly from that little weight gain. By the time my babe arrived, I had just 4lbs to loose. [My babe was 6 lbs 12 oz]
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Your math seems a little screwy. You only gained 12 lbs? Your baby weighted 6lbs. 12+6 = 18lbs NOT 41lbs. And that seems dangerous that you gains such little weight.
Also before I run out the door (probably seems silly that I'm commenting on here)... Our bodies are AMAZING! Even nursing just a few days after birth will help Mom and baby immensely. Your baby will receive the immune-boosting colustrum you make in the first 1-2 days AND nursing naturally helps your uterus shrink a little faster which is better for your body etc.. And last thing, let's not forget the BOND that is created between Mom and baby, it's really beautiful.
10:49- Your milk will NOT "dry up" if you breastfeed. The more you nurse, the more milk "you" make. It's very simple...supply and demand. Gotta keep eating healthy and drinking WATER though. And Moms should stay away from caffeine and soda as they are very dehydrating.

Breast feeding burns how many calories??? CAN I BORROW SOMEONE'S BABY PLEASE! haha
YOU CAN EAT A HEALTHY "DIET" AND EXERCISE WHILE BREASTFEEDING!!! Breastfeeding alone burns approximately 350-500 calories per day. Just be sure to drink 6-8 glasses of WATER per day and especially drink some WHILE you are nursing.
To 10:47 AM - I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the first few weeks after birth of my daughter. I was THRILLED to finally be a Mom. She was my little miracle after trying to conceive for 15 months. I felt "high" for the longest time after having her, it was such a blessing. I loved waking up to nurse her, change her, and play with her. And I only took off a week before re-opening my in-home Day Care/Preschool with 5 children under the age of 5.
I only started feeling like motherhood was a little "hard" once my daughter reached 4 years old. My daughter was a happy baby who slept pretty well and was never super-collicky. I was truly blessed especially since I became a single Mom before she turned 1. Look, I'm not the best Mom but it really depends on how prepared you are for the role, your support system, and the baby. And yes, you can/do lose a lot of weight if you breastfeed and along with a healthy diet (not a slim-quick diet), and exercise, the weight will come off.
Of course a celebrity is expected to lose the baby weight fast. Their appearance is a huge investment in their career. Although, Halle Berry already is an Oscar winning established actress. She's had a great career and waited until later in life to have a baby. She also has the money and free time to enjoy her baby without the stress many new (especially young) mothers have. People shouldn't compare themselves to celebrities. It's pointless. New mothers need to focus on caring for their babies, that's the priority.
11:46 When you bring home a brand new baby that you have been wanting for so long like Hallie, it is all thrills. unlike you and I (I am assuming for you as well) didn't have the help that she does. I am sure that she is able to get her rest at night. But her baby is only a few weeks old, she isn't dealing with the teething and all that stuff yet!.
To 11:02am:
I am a mom and I love my baby but I am not going to lie just for the sake of appearing like a good mother. You will have good days and you will have bad ones. I'm just being realistic. Of course, motherhood is 'thrilling' but it won't be that way 24/7. That is reality.
I agree that magazines should not put so much emphasis on the post-baby body. I have never had a baby and the magazines make it seem like once the baby pops out, you just look normal and thin again.
These stories need to stop. They are setting an unrealistic and dangerous precedent for new mothers. Babies are very demanding in the first weeks and months and to make other mothers out there feel inadequate for failing to be sex objects as well as full-time mothers and working parents is flat out wrong. I felt too ill and knocked out to even walk out to get a paper for the first 6 weeks. Shame on you US magazine!!!!!!
