In her first appearance since her semi-topless Vanity Fair photo scandal, Miley Cyrus popped by a Target store in Nashville, Extra reports.
Asked how she is doing, she replied, “Good, thank you.”
As for the semi-topless pics, she remained mum. "No comment," she said.
Over the weekend, Cyrus released a statement apologizing for the racy spread, saying she was "embarrassed" she took them.
She has since been holed up at home in Nashville, where she is working on pre-production for the latest Hannah Montana film.
Yesterday, several stars came to her defense.
On her blog Rosie O'Donnell told people, "Leave her alone," adding that she approved of the 15-year-old's shots by Annie Leibovitz.
Hills stars Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad also had no problem with the pics.
"I think she’s a young girl in Hollywood, and she’s just having fun," Montag said. "[She]'s exploring herself."
Added Conrad, "I thought she looked beautiful in the pictures. I didn’t find it that inappropriate."

First of all Vanity Fair is not a trash magazine, it’s a very conservative and top notch magazine.
Second of all, why are all you people thinking that this kind of semi-nudity in young teens just started and you are blaming it on TV, music, etc. This started years and years ago. Look at Brook Shields, she did a few movies, several pictures, and lets not forget her Calvin commercial where nothing comes between her and her Calvins. In Blue Lagoon she was a pregnant teen that was far more revealing than the Miley pictures and Brook still turned out to be a lovely young lady and a beautiful woman with a great deal of class who attended Princeton University. Brook didn't do anything wrong back then and Miley hasn't done anything wrong either.

Personally I believe she comes from a very good family and this will never happen again..

i think if these parents are so offended maybe they shouldn't be letting there 10 or 11 year olds read a vanity fair to begin with. They shouldn't be blaming miley or her parents because if they think their child is going to mimmick everything this star does it comes down on them as a parent to teach their children the difference between fantasy and reality. Putting the blame on the stars is just another excuse as to why their child is messed up and not just there bad parenting.

yes I did! it is not like it was just a picture of her on a beach in a swim suite or something. It was intentionally setup for her to look like a sexual lil girl. I don’t even think she was 15 when it was taken. Now she has dirty old men looking at her. Have we forgotten about the stars that are stalked and especially those that get killed over these psycho’s out there? Now as she is walking down the street you can believe that there is at least one of them that will stalk her and something will happen all because she did Vanity fair and posed like that.

If she was 25 and doing this picture, well, that's fine, and believe me I WOULD NOT be saying anything about it, but she's 15, if you don't understand the concept, well, whatever. Yeah, girls her age show a lot more, and guess what? I think they're slutty too. I wouldn't expect that many 15 year old girls of today to understand the concept of respecting one's self, having values and morals...not with todays girls. Miley IS 15 and should understand what she was doing, but obviously not, however, her parents, well, I blame them. Miley's getting blamed and judged because of her parents lack of judgement. The media is there and they're there at all costs, so maybe next time better choices would be made, especially in today's world where EVERYONE is judgemental. I don't hate the girl. I still think she CAN be that good role model to girls. I believe she'll rebound from this, she's just a little embarrassed. I believe Miley still has good morals and values too. She'll be okay. Us Mag, please stop posting the stuff about Miley too. Don't you have more important things to report on than the same stuff over and over again...oh wait!
