Could Paris Hilton beat her BFF Nicole Richie down the aisle?
Maybe.
Asked on Yo on E! if he could be engaged within six months, Benji Madden replied, "I'm not gonna bet against you on that. We'll see. I'm very, very happy right now."
The rocker, 29, added that "nothing would make me happier" than spending the rest of his life with the heiress, 27.
Madden said he's always known the "real Paris.
"I always knew that she was, like, wife material, or serious girlfriend material," Madden said.
Any one who finds true love in their life "is really lucky," Madden added. "You know you just walk around feeling lucky all day. You just want to get on top of a mountain and go, 'I'm in love!'"
Also in love? His twin bro, Joel.
Benji said "it wouldn't surprise" him if Joel married Nicole Richie, the mother of four-month-old daughter, Harlow.
"They're madly in love, I can tell you that," he said. "They're like the picture-perfect couple, and they're amazing parents."
When would they tie the knot? Said Benji, "Your guess is as good as mine."

Wow – it just takes a “boyfriend” for Hilton to “behave herself”? Well, Benji certainly couldn’t stop Hilton from bashing Kardashian on public radio with her hateful, jealous commentary. But he probably wasn’t in the room at the time. No wonder certain members of Good Charlotte can’t stand her. As for Benji, time will tell if he’s just as deluded as she is. Bottom line: Nobody really cares.

Puleeeeze -- let’s Hilton elevate her far beyond her level of importance. Here’s the perfect analogy: Imagine being outdoors on a beautiful summer day, having a picnic lunch, and this pesky fly buzzes around your food and won’t go away no matter how many times you try to wave it away, ignore it, etc. Hilton is just an annoying pest with her obnoxious, no-talent and meaningless invasion in pop culture – all for the sake of making a cheap, phony buck. And, as with other offensive, obnoxious bugs, one can’t help but begin to look for the verbal fly swatter.
If you think the role model she has set for young girls in this country is fine, I won't call you "evil," but you have some serious problems.

Okay, I just have to comment. First of all, I've NEVER heard anything Good Charlotte sings on the radio. Are they any good? I listen to alternative rock and apparently that isn't what they do. I think if you put a pair of Wayfarers on them they'd look like The Blues Brothers. Why do they always wear hats? What's the deal with all the tattoos? The work both these guys have had done seems to go well beyond tasteful art and into the ridiculous.
It will be interesting to fast forward 6 months or 12 months and see what they're all doing then. Maybe it's true love, but frankly I doubt it. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong and all still be together 50 years from now. LOL
