David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach, claims that the former Baywatch star lied to cops when he called 911 to report that his younger daughter had tried to commit suicide.
Hasselhoff made an emergency call Sunday night saying that his daughter had “cut herself” in what was allegedly a suicide attempt. Now Bach tells TMZ that her daughter never attempted suicide and that David made the call out of pure revenge and to make her look like a bad parent.
According to Bach, Hayley Hasselhoff, 14, was scratched by the family cat Sunday night at around 6 p.m. She says her daughter was crying uncontrollably, so she called David and suggested they take the girl to see a psychologist on Monday. At that point Bach claims David threatened to call the police on her.
"You're going down,” he allegedly told Bach. “I'm calling the police."
Bach says that the police and paramedics arrived and took the girl to the hospital, which they are required by law to do in the case of a possible suicide attempt. She was released shortly after arriving there.
Hasselhoff's publicist Judy Katz tells TMZ (which actually has a picture of the Hasselhoff family cat -- they really are everywhere!) that Hasselhoff became alarmed when his older daughter, Taylor, called to say her sister was bleeding. Hasselhoff denies telling 911 about a suicide attempt, but says the 911 operator may have interpreted it that way. He also denies even speaking with Bach Sunday night. Hasselhoff, who was about to board a plane for a film festival, left town without visiting his daughter.

Even tho i don't agree with anonymous 8:37 mean words, I do have to agree with smellykat at 8:47 and anonymous at 7:10. She needs to tone it down a notch, even tho it's nice to have a new baby and we're happy for her. She sounds a bit wierd.... and I really don't care to hear what happens in every minutes of her life. You guys will probably tell me to shut up and that i'm so mean, but at least i didn't pull an "anonymous" to try to conceal ny identidy...

To the comment made by anonymous at 8:37pm, I have to agree to some degree. I was told 3 years ago that I will never bear children, and it is difficult to have someone rub their life in your face constantly while trying to get away from reality on a blog. Don't get me wrong i am happy for Mrs. Chocolat, but I think she embelishes the truth a bit and needs to tone it down a notch.

Helping your husband move furniture into your "new" house, baby sleeping but she will wake up any minute, but you can't help your husband..blah friggin blah! You are ridiculous! Then you said you were moving to another state on another blog, so i think alot of what you say is bulls***. I agree with you, Stephie! These people should be required to take parenting classes. We had to when my first husband and I divorced and it made all the difference in the world. We separated rather amicably and we have a friendly relationship today. The kids are the main focus, not my "career" and the freakin' film festival.
BTW, the girl looks A LOT like her mom.

Hi witchywoman! It's interesting on this blog these days. I don't get the whole news story today with David Hasselhoff. First the girl tried to commit suicide and we were feeling sorry for her. Now she was scratched by a cat and her father's a d*ck! I personally agree with the second opinion. He sounds like he has some problems.
Wait--didn't he break something in his hotel room and cut his arm? Maybe he's projecting his problems upon his daughter.

Since it's been made public...I actually believe Hasselhoff...i don't care much for him, don't have any respect for him, but I believe him...and really, it doesn't matter if she attempted suicide or was playing the cutting game, for me, it's one and the same and both need psychological treatment. apparently, it worried her sister enough that she called the dad, it makes me wonder why the mom didn't do anything, was she not home, or did she just not take it seriously? finally, the older dtr calling the dad does make it seem like the mom is more worried about appearances than her own dtr, so she makes up tales to feed the public to make him look bad.
