This is to let you all know that my brother died 3 years ago. He was found dead in hs bed. He had chronic back pain and was taking Methadone and also had depression so, was taking antidepressants. He did not commit suicide. He was a hypo chondriac type about his health. He injured his back at work years earlier. I know these drugs are lethal!!!!! We was so scared of death. His death was accidental. Please read up and research everything a doc gives you, they are human and make mistakes!!!! THese drugs can kill you!!!

Is Howard K. Stern waiting for the drugs to get out of his system so that they don't show up in his blood work or DNA?
Why is he stalling so long and refusing even tho he was ordered to take the DNA Test by the courts..Howard Stern must be hiding his addiction or something very pertinent to this case..
Even stranger, most all those drugs were in his name (Howard), and if he so loved her so very much ,why did he get them for her, why didn't he get her a interventionist there to stop her and Howard from getting those drugs in her body...
It is very strange that if Anna's son Danny came to the hospital all stoned, that he would even not be detected, and your saying the nurses let him visit her in that condition?? this strikes me very strange..yet seconds later he died in there??
Howard knows he will make money from all this publicity.
I hope someway they can forse Howard K. Stern to take bloodtests and take his DNA even if Larry is the father, because HOward is hiding something for sure....Howard has never claimed to need these drugs for his ailments of any kind, so why in his name..Howard being a lawyer I am sure has others in the business he consulted with about the Law..
Wasn't it Howards doing to get Anna to the Bahamas in the first place? rent a place to keep her there, knowing what our laws are like in the USA..
I lost a child and 3 of my sisters have also..WE know the pain a mother goes through losing a child..

Although it's legitimate for the pathologist to proclaim that Daniel died due to a lethal combination of prescription drugs, it's absurd for the doctor to proclaim that the overdose was accidental. Why? Because:

1) As a nerdy A student, Daniel wasn't the druggie type
2) Daniel was not prescribed Methadone by a doctor
3) If Daniel didn't take the Methadone then someone else might have slipped it to him
4) That someone else would need both a motive and an opportunity do such a thing. What could they be?
5) Howard K. Stern was the beneficiary of seven insurance policies if Anna and her son Daniel died
6) Several of Anna's friends saw Howard K. Stern supply Anna with Methadone and a duffel bag of other illicit drugs on several occasions
7) It's been widely reported that except for the money that Anna gave him, Howard was basically broke. (He took Anna's case on contingency, he dropped is other clients after he met Anna, and Anna even paid his rent.)
8) Anna strangely died five months after Daniel
9) A friend on Larry King Live said that she often saw Howard mix drugs into drinks for Anna, and Anna would not even know what drugs Howard used or what they might do to her
10) Both that friend and Anna's mom believed that Anna and her son were murdered by Howard. After Daniel died and while Anna was still alive, Anna's mom even warned Anna on TV that she needed to be careful or she might die next! (That's why Anna lashed-back at her mom on TV.)
11) Tragically Anna's mom, a law enforcement agent, was right: Anna did die next
12) Due to the seven insurance policies that named Howard K. Stern the beneficiary if both Anna and Daniel "accidentally" died, Howard K. Stern, ever the clever and calculating lawyer, is now about to become a very rich man
13) As the legal father of Anna's daughter under Bahamian law, Howard might also gain control of an additional $450 million if he can win Anna's lawsuit against her ex-husband
14) If Howard K. Stern does than lawsuit then Anna's daughter might be next.

I'm not an Anna hater, but I would have to agree with the many posters that tend to blame Anna for her son's death. Although she is not DIRECTLY to blame, she certainly is INDIRECTLY. She seems like she would be a permissive mother who would allow her son to take multiple anitdepressants and pain medications without clearly educating herself on the possible risk factors. Most parents would exhaust all other medical alternatives before resolving to allow their children to take 3 different highly addictive medications as the only answer.

Another thing, how did Daniel who otherwise seemed like a normal, healthy 20 year old, already have back problems so severe that it would require a pain medication so strong that it was often prescribed for people getting off of heroine?? Seems extreme to me.

ok people.. seriously.. just because she does not have an education and married an old man and so on, does not mean she is a bad person... sure she didnt make great decisions but they were hers, and just like you are not perfect she is not perfect.. your mistakes are not broadcasted for everyone to see, and who are we to judge her, to everyone that is writing stuff, ARE you prescribed anything(because almost the entire country is or have you ever done any drugs).. ok because as i see it Daniel was a healthy 20 year old boy, yes he may have been a little depressed or stressed out, who is not these days, but like any other 20 year old who lives in L.A., he probaly liked to go out and party or hang out with friends but at the same time was not educated on the medications he was prescribed, therefore he took them and maybe some others that was not prescribed and his body could not handle the mixture.. with that said, that does not mean Anna is a bad mother and was feeding her child pills trying to kill him, I think under her circumstances she was a great mother she put her child first and that is what mattters.. Kids these days are overdosing and abusing drugs more than ever, these should be a wake up call and Anna once done grieving should turn his life into something positive, and start speaking out about the dangers of abusing medications and drugs.. This is just my opinion but I also think we should not judge her for every mistake she has made, we can not say we have not made a few hear and there..

I can’t help but think that the same idiot who was giving Anna her prescription drugs was the one who gave Daniel his.
We all know that Anna was a pill popper, and was out of it a lot and thick tongued on her show. I heard from a previous news report that they were going to sue the MD who prescribed the lethal combo of prescriptions to him. To me that’s just calling the kettle black.

Methadone is also used for heroin addiction but more rarely used as a pain killer. My key question here is did Anna (who is rumored to be on prescription meds in the past)ever tell daniel the dangers about taking more than one bottle of medication.He was 20 didn't he know how deadly it is to mess with Methadone and mix that with two different anti-depressants? The reason why I said Anna's been on pills is because at past public appearences she has glassy eyes and slured speach and her voice was scratchy those are all signs of somebody being on medication and lots of it.Like I said Daniel saw Anna take a couple at a time and he thought he could do the same.

*No education? Let's forget that she was pregnant and working to support her child. Or let's not try to sympathize with any struggle she had to receive her education (being shuffled from different parental figures, no support, etc.). Let me also not go on to the millions of others who have received "no education" and made millions, or made inventions to further technology. Considering the current education system you can go through school and not receive a decent education. And seeing as how you brought up her supposed lack of education I would have to assume that you think you have one and that would make me point out your various spelling mistakes. I typically would never mention this because I know the struggle of learning disabilities, but your judgmental attitude begs for it. And proves my point about her not missing much by dropping out.

*Another fact you forgot is that Anna Nicole NEVER said that Birkhead was the father. NEVER. And when is it sleeping around to have been with two people? Just because you may have been with ONE person and would never take your clothing off for money or never get drunk does not mean that is what others want. Nor does it make everyone who does not live to your standards a bad person or one who makes poor decisions. Other than her recent tragedy she seems to be sitting pretty good to me. She is secure, has achieved many goals she set, and can provide for her family.

The impairment is up for debate as far as I am concerned because I have always thought that it was a gimmick to keep her talked about. Do y'all really think that one person would go to several (at least 4) award shows and show up wasted at ALL of them? Wasted to the point that she appeared to be? I don't.

I have also heard that those pictures were sold, or had been negotiated to be sold, before Daniel died (but I could be wrong). I also do not see that as a bad decision either way. If she hadn't paparazzi would be camped out to get pictures of her daughter, who I am sure she is feeling overprotective of right now.

Oh, and Daniel has NEVER been reported to "have a history" of drug abuse or dependency. Quit spouting crap. All this speculation is as damaging as those paparazzi chasing celebrities through the streets. Maybe Daniel was seeing two or three doctors at the same time, and with multiple prescriptions (and not to mention miscommunication and misinformation) he was unaware of the toxic combination of medicines he was taking.

How sad--the poor kid doing all that. I always hate it when I see kids his age at the hospital addicted to drugs. He was either a heroin addict or he could have gotten the methadone illegally--we have to drug test the heroin addicts to make sure they take their methodone because some of them don't take it and then sell it. Maybe he got it from his mom--if she wasn't on drugs, then I am the Queen of England--or maybe a well-meaning friend. Who knows. He could have either been trying to get high or self-medicating. I seriously doubt they legally prescribed methodone to him. Doctors tend to try to prescribe less habit forming things for pain first. I think he probably was a good kid, but with a mom like her--he didn't have a good chance.
