Us reported yesterday that Jessica Simpson -- who spent today lobbying Congress on behalf of the Operation Smile charity -- backed out of tonight’s gala for The Republican National Committee (“Uh, sorry, Jessica can’t make it tonight. She’s washing her hair extensions.â€) Today the wires are abuzz with the news that Jessica “snubbed President Bush.†Au contraire mon frere. Actually, it was the Republicans that she was ditching.
"It just feels wrong," one Simpson insider told Reuters on Wednesday, adding that the actress keeps her political views private. "She would love to meet the president and talk about Operation Smile ... but she can't do it at a fund-raiser for the Republican Party."
To recap, Jessica Simpson will wear hot pants for Pizza Hut, but won’t have dinner with Republicans. Pizza Hut has more street cred than the GOP. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Why does her head shake every time she talks. She kind of moves it side to side when she speaks. I just seen her recent Proactiv commercial and it looks real obvious. Has anyone else noticed this?

Jessica Simpson has an ego of a Dinosaur! She dumps her husband for reasons like he was flirting, and that was understandable, until the world learns that she cheated herself. I feel bad for Nick Lachey! She is as dumb as she is beautiful, and thinks the world revolves around her. She needs to stop with the racy ads and videos, and settle down her Paris Hilton like lifestyle, and just stop being famous- no one cares about her anymore!

A message to celebrities adopting children:
I'd like to plant the seed of second thoughts into the mind of those rumored to be adopting like Demi Moore, or those who have already adopted like Meg and Angelina - what about your own backyard ladies?
There are many impoverished communities here in the United States where orphaned children are waiting for loving parents. While I absolutely admire the efforts of those who what to lead by example, I think they need to consider the land that loves them, the US of A. We, as Americans do try to lead the world by showing compassion and caring for others, whether it be 3rd world countries or our own neighbors, but we must not forget our own. So, how about adopting an American child?
