Now that dear old Ian Ziering has been eliminated - along with his pro Cheryl Burke (tear), it's down to the top three hotsteppin' pairs to battle for the disco ball trophy. Apolo Anton Ohno and Julianne Hough, Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson, and the lone lady, Laila Ali and her pro Max Chmerkovskiy will learn their fate on May 26.
For those of you just tuning in, it's Mr. Ohno who always does it for Us, but lately we've been thinking that the last lady standing could sneak in for a final two placement. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba couldn't be more thrilled to usher in the final three. "We have two athletes and the entertainer," she told Us backstage at last night's broadcast. "I’m pretty blown away and I’m really happy. I’m sad to see Ian and Cheryl leave, because when you get this far, you want to see everybody win," well said, "Paula Abdul."
As we anxiously await the season four finale, plans for the DWTS summer tour are underway. Unfortunately we won't be seeing our Apolo shake his stuff this summer because ABC is trading him for Brian Fortuna, Alec Mazo, Joey Lawrence, Joey McIntyre, Joey Fatone and Drew Lachey. With those steamy six on stage, here's hoping that the departing Ziering will share some of his Chippendales secrets for the summer tour!

I love Joey and Kym and last night there freestyle was the best HANDS DOWN. Apollo's breakdancing was a copycat version of Mario Lopez's brekdancing last season for freestyle. Joey and Kym were also the only couple who wore ballroom dancing shoes! Apollo/Laila wore TENNIS SHOES! Hello anyone can dancer in TENNIS SHOES. Joey and Kym's started out really slow and then was electrified. THey are really the best by far.
OH AND YOU GUYS-JOEY FATONE HAD HIP HOPD DANCE EXPIRENCE, WHO CARES? SO DID DREW LACHEY IN SEASON 2-HE WAS IN A BOY BAND AND THEY DID HIP HOP MOVES TOO. AND NOBODY EVER MENTIONED THAT. JOEY LAWRENCE LAST SEASON ALSO HAD DANCE EXPIRENCE AND NOBODY MADE A BIG DEAL OVER IT. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK.

I am so over joeys attitude. He cannot hold a candle to Apolo. Joey had a dancing background and Apolo had a skating background AND Apolo still buries him alive. Laila has a ways too go also. I give her an E for effort but she should not win. ( Maybe after alot more practice!!!!)
Apolo and Julianne are Hot and definitely the best dancers and need to take it ALL!!!!

Apolo Ohno has the style and grove to win the gold. Hats off to you guys. BLESS you guys for entertaining us all because good or bad comments about each of the competitors makes this show standout from the rest. The fact of the matter is that they saw or heard about the show and left a comment.PEACE

I agree with 9:43 - the boy band members definitely have an edge - and BTW - the LADIES (Laila in this season) have it harder cause the men's moves are easier than the ladies! Like the judges say, people pay a bit more attention to the women.
Geez - can you even imagine dancing in those heels??!!!!

Not only were they dancing in boy bands, but they both also did Broadway. Drew's wife was/is even a choreographer.

K-Wood and others: The POINT of the show is to take a celeb who CANNOT dance and turn them into a BALLROOM dancer. Yes, Drew and Joey were in "boy bands" and yes, they DO know how to dance. Even if they don't/didn't know ballroom, they know how to move, how to perform, etc. Hell, some of those celebs didn't even have rhythm! So it's totally unfair to have them compete against someone who is an OBVIOUS dancer/performer, no matter what type of dancing they do. If you knew anything about dancing, you'd be aware of that and wouldn't say such crap.

Laila is gorgeous. She looks like a real person. You're just used to seeing size 0 women. I voted for Apolo but I won't be mad if Joey or Laila win. They're all great.

Joey and Kym are amazing! I think that they should win! Laila needs to stay off the steroids. I do not see what they judges see in her. She is not good, she is boring and she is very cocky. Apolo and Julianne are very good together. I think that Apolo should win for most improved but should not take home the trophy

I love Joey and Kym! He has this great personality, Kym is so energetic, and they are so much fun too watch! I just wanted to say about the comment about Joey and Drew Lachey on how they should not be on the show becuase they have danced, so what?! The dancing that they did in their boy bands is completely different then ballroom dancing. Apollo and Laila are both very talented, but Apollo is just too cocky for me. Go Joey and Kym!

Joey does have experience dancing. However, it's not in ballroom. Two totally different things! I think he's doing a great job and it doesn't matter what previous experience he's had.

I don't care what you say; it is NOT in any way fair for Joey Fatone, Drew Lachey, etc to be on the show. They are obviously dancers and that is not the premise (I do know the title but the point is to take a star who has VERY LITTLE dance experience and turn them into a ballroom dancer).
I hope Laila or Apolo wins b/c they were not dancers when they started and look how far they've come.
