Keeping up with her hair color! Kylie Jenner touched up her platinum blonde roots in a series of Snapchat videos on Sunday, September 18, taking her shade down from a brassy hue to a “silver blonde.”
The Kylie Cosmetics entrepreneur, 19, already needed to conceal her dark roots after her Sunday, September 4, dye job that she documented on the app.
“So I’m ‘bout to get my roots redone,” she told fans at the beginning of her story, playing around with a mirrored sunglasses filter. “It hasn’t even been two weeks, guys. My hair is almost black again.”
A few moments later (while using the voice-altering doe filter), she had her wet locks pulled up into a topknot. “Well, I’m going to shower all this treatment out, and then I’m gonna show you guys the finished look once it’s done,” she guaranteed.
She rinsed out the product (with the popular dog filter applied, naturally), and as promised, showed off her brighter hair while a stylist blowdried it through. “Silver blonde,” she captioned the snap.
Once the process was done, Jenner revealed her noticeably lighter mane, styled stick-straight and parted to the side, in another post that night. She also Snapchatted an icy diamond watch that looks just like her boyfriend Tyga’s. “Got that one for bae last Christmas… Now we matching,” she wrote of the diamond-studded timepiece.
In a September 2015 TheKylieJenner.com post, the reality star, who’s rocked wigs in teal, tomato red and more, opened up about why she loves switching up her shade. "I first dyed my hair when I was 16. I dyed it blue and I never even asked my mom. After that, I've just had this addiction to changing my hair," she wrote. "It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way."
