Emily Zogbi

Emily Zogbi is a writer, editor and poet from Long Island, currently based in Brooklyn. Emily currently works as a weekend editor for Us Weekly, covering the latest in celebrity and entertainment news. Emily’s resume is eclectic to say the least, having worked in book publishing, entertainment journalism, childcare and unemployment. Before she made her way to Us, Emily worked as Lead News Editor for CBR, an (at one point) Eisner-award-winning online publication covering everything comics and nerd-related. Emily earned her Master of Fine Arts in poetry from The New School. Her poetry has been published in ChronogramBodega Magazine, and RHINO Poetry, among others. Emily received the Sappho Prize for Women Poets from Palette Poetry in 2021.  Her debut poetry collection, all the time more than anything, was published by Finishing Line Press in October 2023. Emily enjoys good gossip, bad movies and even worse television. She wishes she had been a dancer.
