Nara Smith
Nara Smith (born Nara Aziza Pellmann) is a model and social media influencer best known for her viral cooking videos. Smith was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa, and raised primarily in Frankfurt, Germany, after her family relocated there during her infancy. She grew up speaking both English and German and began modeling as a teenager, later expanding her presence on social media.
Smith was discovered by IMG Models at age 14 through the agency’s “We Love Your Genes” scouting campaign. She moved to California at 18 to pursue modeling full-time before expanding her reach on social media. She broke out on TikTok in early 2024 with her signature from-scratch recipes, soft-spoken narration and polished aesthetic, quickly becoming one of the platform’s most recognizable lifestyle creators.
In addition to modeling campaigns for brands including Aritzia, Smith has built a large audience across TikTok and Instagram. She later expanded into acting and, in 2026, it was announced that she would make her feature acting debut in David Weil’s film Tyrant.
Smith met fellow model Lucky Blue Smith during Milan Fashion Week in 2019, and the pair married in 2020. They share four children: Rumble Honey (born in 2020), Slim Easy (born in 2022), Whimsy Lou (born in 2024) and Fawnie Golden (born in 2025). She is also a stepmother to Lucky Blue Smith’s daughter Gravity from his previous relationship.
