Ladies (and gentlemen!) — it happened. I fit into my SKINNY JEANS! For those of you that don't what I'm talking about, skinny jeans are those coveted pants in the back of your closet that you once — maybe for a minute, maybe a season — fit in to, but, as of late, have been way too snug to pass off. (The shrink-wrapped sausage look is not cute!) Whether you were eating right and exercising or were just over a bought of the flu and decided to go shopping with your new svelte shape, for a moment in time, you were down a size and, in that blissful period, splurged on an overpriced pair of designer jeans, knowing deep down they probably wouldn't fit for long. But it didn't matter, nothing could stop you from indulging during that euphoric occasion. And, speaking of indulging, if you were like me, to reward yourself for whittling down a size, you most likely consumed sweets, carbs or both and, before you knew it, were back up, saying goodbye to the new jeans. But you never parted with the pants, because you knew one magical day, you would be back in them again. And every once in a while, when having a lithe moment, you'd say hello to your old friend again, hoping and praying that that would be the day they would fit. And today, my friends, is that day — Hallelujah!
This means two things: One, my regimen over the past two months is working. And, two, I’m sticking with it!
So, in that vein, Sue and I have more exercises this week to incorporate into your workout to get you into (or keep you in) your skinny jeans too!
