The Cravings cookbook author, 30, has been totally candid on social media about the imperfections that come along with being a new mother. She’s also made it known that she’s in no rush to bounce back. Earlier this week, she showed off stretch marks by Snapchatting a close-up pic of her leg. “LOL My thighs have tributaries,” she wrote, alongside a crying-face emoji.
Although the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover girl has her flaws, she gave us major envy by cooking in a crop top (with a flat tummy) just three weeks after giving birth and continuing to rock her beloved denim short shorts after welcoming daughter Luna in April. Three months after Luna’s arrival, Teigen shared her reservations about slipping on a swimsuit. “It’s risky,” she said in a Snapchat clip featuring her wearing a sexy one-piece swimsuit postpartum. Luckily, her supportive husband, John Legend, was there to reassure her that he loves her curves.
Another reason the social media cut-up is so relatable: she cheats on her healthy diet, carbs be damned. During a recent Italy vacation, the supermodel, who loves to cook, tweeted about indulging in some delicious pasta.
Teigen and Legend welcomed their first child on Thursday, April 14. Teigen has called being a mom “really fun” and frequently shares pictures of her little girl on social media in adorable outfits.
