Set the right tone for 2016! Julianne Hough’s trainer Astrid Swan showed Us Weekly three moves to get the star’s sculpted arms.
Grab three-pound weights and do these exercises to “get those long, lean, toned arms,” says the L.A.-based trainer, who also works with Olivia Munn.
The first move, called “Tricep Pushups to Boxing,” activates your triceps, while the second exercise, “Split the Difference,” focuses on the biceps and triceps. The pro hails the third move, “Sprinter Runs,” as one of her favorites: “It’s going to burn out your arms and it’s also going to get your heart rate up.”
Hough swears by Swan’s methods, telling Us, “She’s super encouraging, but also kind of a tough cookie. She won’t let you slack off!”
