No swimsuit, no problem! Chelsea Handler forgot to pack a bathing suit for a trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, with surprising pal Maria Sharapova, so she stripped down to her black bra for a day at the beach.
The Chelsea Does star, 41, posted a video to Instagram rapping and laughing with the scandal-plagued tennis player, 28, with a caption that explained her unconventional beach attire: “I forgot my bathing suit and just thought…who cares…”
The pair worked on their tans and enjoyed drinks with a group of friends. Sharapova, clad in a bucket hat and black bikini that almost matched Handler’s bra, showed off her world-famous athletic body on a stroll down the beach.
The vacation comes just a few weeks after the five-time Grand Slam champ tested positive for a banned substance at the Australian Open. As a result, the Russian beauty was provisionally suspended from tennis, and Nike and several other companies suspended her endorsement deals until the investigation is complete.
The unlikely friends also hung out at a Maria Sharapova & Friends pro am tennis tournament in Los Angeles back in December, and teamed up to defeat Will Arnett and Andy Roddick in an exhibition match.
