Clavicular is apparently out to prove that seeing really is believing.

The controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer — real name Braden Peter — is raising eyebrows once again after he decided to livestream his rhinoplasty for curious fans and devoted followers.

Peters, 20, headed to the office of Dr. Michael Salzhauer — better known online as Dr. Miami — on Wednesday, June 3, to undergo the nose job. While the procedure lasted approximately two hours, viewers were able to watch the entire livestream on the platform Kick for just under five hours.

“This content is for mature viewers only,” a message read on Kick before the video began. “You must be 18 or older to view it.” (At the time of publication, the video has more than 30,000 views and plenty of commentary.)

“There was absolutely no need for a nose job — instead he needs to invest in a good psychologist,” one user wrote via X after seeing a clip. Another follower wrote, “Creators are turning life events into content in ways nobody imagined.”

After developing a following on social media, Peters has been introducing the term “looksmaxxing” to pop culture.

According to the BBC, the goal of looksmaxxing is to become the most attractive person you can be according to a set of prescribed criteria. Particular importance is given to jawlines, eyes and physique. (For reference, Peters previously stated that Matt Bomer is one of the most handsome male celebrities in Hollywood today.)

When it comes to politics, Clavicular previously said he would rather vote for Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom over Republican Vice President JD Vance because he preferred Newsom’s looks. (Peters has since shared his new “no more politics” policy with fans.)

Although he has found success — including opportunities to walk in New York Fashion Week and a reported $100,000 a month paycheck from his preferred streaming service, Kick — Peters has also found himself in the center of several controversies.

In January 2026, Clavicular was spotted partying at a Miami nightclub with white nationalist commentator Nick Fuentes and controversial influencer Andrew Tate, who is accused multiple times over of rape, sexual assault and abuse. (Tate has denied all allegations.)

Two months later, Peters was sentenced to six months of probation after shooting an already-dead alligator in the Florida Everglades during a livestream.

He also walked off an interview for 60 Minutes Australia in April 2026 after a journalist asked whether he identifies as an incel.

“Looksmaxxing is self improvement, right? So it’s about potentially even ascending out of that category,” he replied. “So that would be kind of one of the goals is to disassociate from being an incel and overcome that. So that doesn’t make sense.”
