Some well-deserved R&R! Demi Lovato took a break from her Neon Lights world tour while in Miami, Fla., on Sunday, Sept. 14 and took in the sunshine.
The 22-year-old songstress, who performed at the American Airlines Arena later that evening, soaked up the sun in an orange and blue bikini.
Lovato, who has admitted to battling an eating disorder in the past, has been vocal about not fretting over her weight recently. Last month the former Disney star posted a series of images of herself on Facebook reflecting how she used to feel overweight.
“I remember the day I wore the dress in the very first picture,” Lovato wrote. “I remember asking for Spanx to flatten my stomach because I use to feel so heavy and ‘fat’. Now looking at this picture, you can clearly see my hip bones. It makes me sad because I wasted so many years ashamed of my body when I could’ve been living the happy and healthy life I live today.”
After working on her tan — and showing off her fit bod — Lovato revealed a fan’s embarrassing moment on Twitter. “Just finished a meet and greet. Someone legitimately got nervous and farted on me. I guess there’s a first time for everything.. Right?” she wrote.
Also while in Miami, Lovato announced her new temporary hair color system, SecretColor, featuring her signature colors.
