She makes our heart sing! In an age-defying feat, Denise Richards bared her rock-hard bikini body that hasn’t changed since 1998, when she starred in Wild Things.
The 45-year-old mom of Sam, Lola and Eloise enjoyed a beach day in Malibu on Sunday, July 31, clad in a blue-and-purple swimsuit speckled with a bold animal print by Jolyn. Richards, who was bodyboarding on the Pacific waves, appeared to go without makeup for her active afternoon. She wasn’t afraid to get her long blonde hair wet, either, and gamely toweled off once she was finished.
Richards made hottie history in Wild Things, an erotic thriller, in which she stunned in a blue two-piece during a steamy scene in the pool with Neve Campbell as Kevin Bacon looked on. Her body looks better than ever … and she credits healthy eating and hard work for that.
“I am very active. I found what works for my body — everyone’s body is different, and I think it’s best to find what works for you,” The World Is Not Enough actress told Self magazine in 2011. “For me it’s Pilates and dance. My diet is 80 percent vegetarian, and I eat all day long. I have lots of little meals; it’s best for me. I found eating three big meals I felt too full and got tired especially after lunch. I eat lots of fruit, veggies, egg whites, oatmeal, a little chicken, eggs, rice — that’s mostly my diet. I do splurge on ice cream and I love pretzels. My abs get the best workout with my Pilates reformer — I had two C-sections and it was the only thing I found that got my tummy flat.”
