EJ Johnson's looking good and feeling even better! Dropping more than 100 pounds over the last year, shrinking to half his size, Magic Johnson's 22-year-old son is enjoying his new lease on life. "I feel like a new person," Johnson told Us Weekly on Thursday, May 28 at L.A.'s National Alliance for Mental Illness luncheon sponsored by the Hope and Grace initiative, which he attended with Rich Kids of Beverly Hills costar Morgan Stewart.

Undergoing gastric bypass surgery last fall to remove 80 percent of his stomach and shrink it to the size of a banana, Johnson is hesitant to reveal just how much weight he's lost, but intends to keep fans updated on his current weight after his next checkup. "It's definitely much, much [more than] 100 pounds," he estimates.

As a result, Johnson tells Us he's able to overhaul his closet with fashion finds he couldn't wear with his larger frame. "I'm having so much fun getting to play around with a lot of different looks, a lot of different outfits, a lot of motifs," the fashion blogger said. "I'm showing a lot of skin right now. . . . a lot of mesh, lace, a lot of things that are revealing. I'm really excited to wear short shorts for the summer!"

To satisfy his hunger without overdoing it, Johnson eats very small portions of protein, and has completely nixed fried food and bread. Working out four times a week, the reality star and NYU student limits his intake of fat and sugar.

"I've completely changed what I eat and how I view food," he told Us. "My friends and family eat really healthy and they've been encouraging me. I feel great!”
