You don’t have to travel far to go on vacation. Certified Integrative Health Coach and former RHONY reality star Heather Thomson shares her tips on how to enjoy a brief yet relaxing respite simply by changing up your scenery or daily routine.
Tour your hometown.
There are hidden gems all around that don’t require having a lot of money in your bank account. Visit a local museum, try a new exercise class you’ve been wanting to take, or simply stroll around your downtown. Whatever you choose to do, wear your Hapbee smart wearable to help lift your mood and put a little extra spring in your step.
Do something you really want to do.
I remember working full time in New York and driving through Central Park for a meeting at 10 or 11 o’clock in the morning and see people running. I would say to myself that’s what I would like to be doing right now. So, go ahead and do the things you wish you could be doing if you weren’t at work. For me that would be paddle boarding!
Take a mental health day.
Treat yourself to a day off to help get you re-energized before tackling your next big work project. Instead of sitting with the clicker or a screen in your face, unplug and get some well-deserved rest. Easier said than done? Try a Hapbee smart wearable device to help put you in a relaxed state of mind. It uses ultra-gentle magnetic fields, not melatonin, that can make you feel groggy or hungover. Use the day to help get you re-energized to tackle your next big work project.
