Mad about Helen Hunt's bod! The 50-year-old actress showed off her ageless physique on the set of her new movie on Monday, Aug. 5. Hunt hit Venice Beach in L.A. wearing a black halter-top, one-piece swimsuit, which accentuated her slender frame.
The former Mad About You star is the writer, director and star of the new movie Ride. The film, also starring Luke Wilson, tells the story about a mother who travels cross-country to visit her son after he drops out of school to become a surfer. On set, Hunt was photographed holding a surfboard on the beach, and changing into a black wetsuit.
The Academy Award-winning actress — mom to daughter Makena, 9, with partner Matthew Carnahan — recently appeared nude in 2012's The Sessions.
"I got the part a couple weeks before I started, so all the cookie fasting in the world was not going to [help]. So I didn't do that," she told PopSugar about preparing for the nude scenes in The Sessions. "Every time I wanted to worry about that, I just tried to prepare more for the part so I would be thinking more about that than about how naked I was."
"More than anybody, the cameraman sets the tone on a set, so it all kind of came down to him," she added. "So I talked to him — that was one way I prepared. 'Don't let me look bad,' and that was it."
