Jennifer Lawrence is an open book.
Lawrence, 36, revealed all the cosmetic work she’s had done while chatting with Vogue in a new article published on Thursday, September 3. “I need to have movement in my face — I get baby Botox, but I can’t do a lot,” the actress shared. “If my skin is going to be a little saggier than I would like, at least it looks dewy and pretty.”
Something she’s interested in but hasn’t yet experimented with is fat transfers, which can help restore volume and smooth wrinkles. “I’m really nervous about these fat transfers,” Lawrence shared. “I support other people doing them because I want to continue to watch and see what happens, but I don’t know about that.”
“I mean, I would love to have a buccal fat removal,” the No Hard Feelings star added of the procedure that takes out fat pads from the cheeks to create a more sculpted face. “I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.”
Lawrence also opened up about other beauty treatments that she doesn’t necessarily enjoy getting done.
“I hate getting my hair colored,” she said. “I also hate going to the nail salon. I saw a tweet that was like, ‘It’s like going to the hand dentist.’ It’s not relaxing. It’s not fun. It’s really, really boring. It takes so long.”
Lawrence previously opened up about speculation that she’s had work done in 2023, telling Kylie Jenner during a conversation for Interview magazine that her makeup artist is as talented as a plastic surgeon.
“I also think it’s incredible what makeup can do because I work with Hung [Vanngo], who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon, because everybody in the last few months since I’ve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery,” she quipped. “I’m like, ‘I didn’t have eye surgery. I’m doing makeup.’”
Lawrence went on to say that when social media users compare her looks through the years, they take a photo when she was only 19 years old and put it beside a current photo.
“I’m like, ‘I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I’m aging,’” she said. “Everybody thought I had a nose job, and I’m like, ‘I’ve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up.’”
