Bad judge, great body! Kate Walsh showed off her beach-ready figure while filming a scene for her NBC show Bad Judge on Monday, Oct. 27, in Malibu, Calif.
The actress, 47, looked super slim and toned in flesh-colored undergarments which included high-waisted, slimming shapewear and a strapless bra. Walsh’s toned arms and lean physique were on full display as she shot the scene with a costar.
The Private Practice alum beamed as she ran from the water onto the sandy beaches of Malibu with her hair soaking wet. So far, there’s no explanation as to why she was wearing nude undergarments in the ocean.
On the series, Walsh stars as hard-partying judge Rebecca Wright, who works in the Criminal Court circuit. Naturally, Wright’s free-spirited nature gets her in a lot of trouble with her colleagues.
At NBC’s TCAs this past July, the Grey’s Anatomy actress spoke to Us Weekly about what specifically attracted her to the raucous character. “It was kind of a total fantasy character,” Walsh said. “She plays drums, she’s totally proficient at her job, she’s a party girl, and a mess.”
The actress was sold after reading the first four pages of the script. “She’s passed out, then running around like a madwoman,” Walsh recalled, “and the reveal that at the end of it — she’s a judge — was just awesome.”
