Khloe Kardashian Is Proud of Her Shape Spread: ”The Fat One’ Is On the Cover of Shape!’

Khloé Kardashian is getting the last laugh. The 31-year-old reality star is relishing her May 2016 Shape magazine cover after years of being called the “fat” sister.

“Super excited about my @shape_magazine coverspread on stands now! Be proud of ur shape. Be proud of ur journey ❤️,” the slimmed-down Keeping Up With the Kardashians star tweeted on Tuesday, April 12, along with a shot from inside the mag.

The Strong Looks Better Naked author shared that although she wishes they chose a different cover image, she couldn’t be more “thrilled” with the milestone moment.

“But how f—king crazy that me… ‘The fat one’ is on the cover of Shape!!! Ha! 😝,” she tweeted. (As KUWTK fans are well aware, Kardashian, the tallest sister, has always been teased about being bigger than Kourtney and Kim.)

In her cover story, Kardashian explained that following her split from Lamar Odom, the gym became her safe place.

"When Lamar and I broke up, I had all these emotions that I didn't know what to do with. Some people suggested therapy, but instead I joined my local Equinox gym, where I'd get on an elliptical and watch bad reality TV. As a result, I started losing weight," Kardashian recalled. "Once I realized I could shed some pounds that way, I began working out regularly with my trainer, Gunnar Peterson, and I made a commitment to get healthy. He taught me that the trick to staying motivated is to find what you really love to do. We did cardio, calisthenics, circuit training, Pilates and boxing."

When she can’t find time to workout with Peterson or take a class, Kardashian shared that she’ll “use the treadmill” she has at home.

“The gym takes all the anxiety away when I'm overwhelmed or stressed out,” she concluded. “It clears my mind of all the crap and puts me in a really good mood.”
