No shame! Lena Dunham has been working hard to get in shape thanks to celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson. On Monday, May 11, the Girls creator, 28, hit a minor snag when she forgot to bring her workout clothes and was forced to wear a pair of spandex pants that were way too tight.
But instead of letting that stop her, Dunham posted a selfie via Instagram of the look, along with an inspirational message.
“Late to @tracyandersonmethod & forgot my workout clothes so had to snag a size large bra and size small pants (wrong in myriad ways.) But do we soldier on? Yes, yes we do because we want to be a strong & happy lady #largebrasmallpantscantlose,” she captioned the pic.
This isn’t the first time the writer and actress has spoken out about her new healthy initiative. On April 11, she shared another gym selfie, talking about the importance of exercise in regards to her mental health.
“it has helped with my anxiety in ways I never dreamed possible,” Dunham said of her new fitness routine. “To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it's mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen. I'm glad I did. It ain't about the ass, it's about the brain.”
