Love Island USA’s Sol Mýa set the record straight on whether she’s gotten a breast augmentation.
“A lot of people think I got my boobs done,” Sol, 24, said via TikTok on Tuesday, August 25. “I actually got a breast reduction. … It was like, COVID era,” she explained. “I actually had 38DDs. Right now I’m at, like, a 36C, I believe.”
Sol continued, explaining that she got a reduction because of “back pain.”
“I actually was that friend that was, like, stretching every five seconds because it’s heavy,” she noted. “A lot of people want boobs and personally, I f***ing hate them. I hate them. I would get another breast reduction, honestly.”

The Peacock star then shared that she had to get the procedure “approved” by her doctor before going under the knife. “It actually was free since I was having a lot of back pain and I did have a way smaller frame at the time,” she explained. “It was covered by insurance.”
“Surprisingly, they are, unfortunately, one of my insecurities 🤍,” Sol captioned the post.
Fans shared their own experiences in the comments section.
“Yesss boobs are so annoying I want a reduction to just fit my frame,” one wrote, which Sol “liked.”
Another asked, “Did you also get a lift? Also how was the healing process?” Sol replied, “They did add a lift — healing was bad I had an infection but it healed but healing process hurts for sure 😭.”
A third follower asked how her “scarring” was. “Mine is barely visible unless you look really hard but scar cream right after helps but the younger you are when you get it, helps with healing time,” Sol answered.
Sol made her debut on Love Island USA during season 8 earlier this year when she entered as a bombshell. She explored her connection with Sincere Rhea, who ultimately felt stronger feelings with Melanie Moreno.
