Raven-Symoné is looking back at the plastic surgery she had as a teen.
“Do I have any regrets about it? Yes, because I was too young,” the That’s So Raven alum, 40, said during the Monday, October 5, episode of the “Allure Perspectives” podcast while discussing the two breast reductions she underwent as a minor.
“I should have gotten it done after puberty,” Raven-Symoné continued. “And a lot of other things should have happened, but it was very hastily done. Very well done, I mean, they still look good. But it was hastily done, and I wish I was stronger to say no.”
Raven-Symoné joked that she never minded having larger breasts.
“I got into anything! I was first in line,” she said. “Push these little babies up, they get you anywhere. These triple Ds were popping.”
Raven-Symoné added that she is now 80 percent confident in her own skin after struggling with feeling only “10 percent” confident during the height of her Disney Channel days.
“Me and my chest have conversations on the regular,” she quipped.
Raven-Symoné previously opened up about her breast reductions — the first of which occurred when she was 15 — during a December 2024 episode of her and wife Miranda Pearman-Maday’s “Tea Time with Raven & Miranda” podcast.
“I went from a triple D all the way down to a B. Someone said I needed to do it in order to get a show,” she revealed, adding that she opted to get liposuction at the same time.
“I was like, ‘Yeah, if I get lipo, will people stop calling me fat?’ And so, I got a twofer,” Raven-Symoné continued.
The surgeries came with complications, including the Raven’s Home actress suffering a seizure when she awoke due to the anesthesia. She also still has scars on her chest from the procedure.
“I have scars. I still have scar tissue to this day,” she said. “And I gained weight after and had to, like, go back for a quick little, like, [get] a little bit more out ‘cause [my breasts] were still too big for others’ feelings.”
Raven-Symoné also reflected on how times have changed since she was a teen.
“I felt like boys watched the show because I had big boobs,” she recalled. “I feel like that was the case. They came for the boobs and stayed for the comedy. There’s this beautiful embracing of the body now that I didn’t get as a young girl.”
