Second time's a charm for Reese Witherspoon!
Although the actress, 35, tied the knot with Jim Toth at her Ojai, Calif. ranch on March 26, she says she was startled to find love with the CAA agent, 40.
"It's an exciting feeling," Witherspoon gushes in the May issue Elle UK (excerpted on PopSugar) in a pre-wedding interview. "[Somebody saying] 'You're the one.'"
The Water for Elephants star adds modestly: "And it's a surprise. You know, I'm surprised when people who aren't related to me see my movies. And you're surprised somebody wants to be with you because, boy, I've got a lot of quirks and wrinkles."
It wasn't her first time down the aisle, of course: Witherspoon wed Ryan Phillippe back in June 1999 when she was just 23. Their daughter Ava was born that September, with son Deacon arriving in October 2003; they divorced in late 2007.
"I was so, so young. I was, like, ridiculously young," Witherspoon admits.
"I learned a lot, though. It was an excellent opportunity for me to really find out what it means to be a partner and to be in a marriage and it's not anything that I thought it was," adds the Oscar winner.
And she doesn't mind opening up about that rocky patch of her personal history. "You can't say, 'I don't want to talk about that'. You just can't. You've got to talk about it all."
As reported in the latest Us Weekly, Witherspoon and Toth's nuptials were both rustic (with a wood-plank dance floor and mismatched furniture) and star-studded (with A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Renee Zellweger in attendance).
"Reese and Jim were beaming all night," a guest tell Us.
