Rob Kardashian Jokes He's "Trending For Being Fat," Denies Fat Camp

Hear him roar! Rob Kardashian is speaking out, returning to social media after months of silence to hit back at critics who called him out for his weight gain.

The reality star, 27, took to Twitter on Tuesday morning, May 20, after his name was trending on social media. Rob was snapped by photographers in Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, May 19, pictured for the first time in weeks.

He arrived at the airport to depart for Europe with his mother, Kris Jenner, to attend his sister Kim Kardashian's upcoming wedding to Kanye West.

"So I found out I was trending for being fat…" Rob wrote on Twitter. "Thank you all, it really made my day :)"

The son of the Kardashian clan has been publicly struggling with his weight for the past year. Rumors surfaced that he had been sent to fat camp by Kris in order to get back on track, but he quickly shot down speculation on Tuesday.

"To the blogs saying I went to fat camp or rehab, LOL." he tweeted. "Then why am I still fat u fools?? Y'all must have run out of real news."

"First, I don't believe in rehab or therapy or anything of that sort and second, I'm a grown man and will work on myself when I choose," he continued. "I'm aware that I'm fat that def ain't a surprise to me lol… My only therapy will be in the gym, anyways had to say somethingggggggggg."

Khloe Kardashian also stood up for her brother, coming to Rob's defense on Twitter.

"I love you @robkardashian," she wrote on Tuesday. "Some of you people are disgusting for calling others names and picking on them… You should be ashamed of yourself. Your words are cutting deeper then you know and are [possibly] leaving lifetime scars!"

"What shallow souls some of you are," she continued. "It's sickening to critique anyone off of their appearance. Grow up!"

The Kardashian-Jenner family is making its way to Europe this week for Kim and Kanye's wedding, but TMZ reports they are bringing an extra guest with them. The publication says that trainer Gunnar Peterson, who has worked with Khloe in the past, is being flown to Paris to work out with Rob and Khloe while they are abroad.
