Actress Eva Amurri's fiance has mom Susan Sarandon's stamp of approval!
At the 2nd Annual Change Begins Within Benefit Celebration Monday, the Oscar-winning star, 64, gushed to UsMagazine.com about her daughter's man, soccer player and ESPN commentator Kyle Martino, 29.
"He's just a very sane, really lovely guy," she said. "His family's fabulous. He adores her. I mean, you couldn't ask for anything more."
Also key for Sarandon, who co-owns NYC ping-pong club SPiN, he knows his way around a paddle. Though the actress says she won their recent match, she complimented her future son-in-law's prowess.
"He's a very sportsman-like guy," she told Us. "He does everything well that's physical."
He's not bad in the romance department either. Sarandon said he earned high marks for his proposal, which Amurri, 25, Tweeted about on Saturday.
"You have to talk to her about it!" Sarandon told Us of her little girl, who stars on Californication. "She can tell you — because it's a really great way it happened. It's fabulous!"
