Who knew woodland fairies could be so . . . sexy?
The folks of Victoria's Secret did, apparently, when they decided to send Australian stunner Miranda Kerr down the runway of their iconic show in NYC Nov. 7, in a velveteen, forest-green, low-cut leotard.
Later on in the show, Orlando Bloom's wife, 29, also donned a bejeweled, black-lace trimmed lingerie set (plus the legendary Victoria's Secret angel wings), as well as a bright pink lace bra-and-undies set.
Backstage, Kerr — who welcomed son Flynn in January 2011 — opened up to Us Weekly about how she got ready to strut her stuff on stage during the annual fashion show.
"I'm pretty good about diet and my eating plan," Kerr explained of her approach. "I'm a certified health coach and nutrition expert and I know what works for me. What I like to do is a green smoothie; broccoli, and all types of veggies in it in the morning. Also eggs and avocado."
In addition to her avocado addiction, the supermodel said she embraces plenty of other forms of healthy fats, too.
"I don't stay away from fat," she revealed. "I have an apple, some almonds, some goji berries for snacks during the day. For lunch I'll do grilled chicken with a spinach salad, with fresh lemon and macadamia nut oil." See more photos from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
"I also carry a protein shake in my bag, with organic rice protein powder, combined with macca powder [and] goji berries," she added. Leading up to the show, "I need to keep my energy levels up. It's a huge day . . . You have to be on top of your game!"
