A model workout! Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner both get into fighting shape with intense boxing sessions.
“Boxing is such a great total-body workout. It’s a perfect balance of cardio and resistance training,” says Rob Piela, who trains BFFs Hadid and Jenner at Gotham Gym in NYC’s West Village. “At Gotham, we pride ourselves on being authentic and getting results.”
Gotham partnered with the wellness and nutrition company WellPath Solutions to open a new studio, G-Box, in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood. “Since opening up G-Box, we’ve been able to teach a way higher volume of people, which is great,” Piela tell Us Weekly. “And the new studio gives a lot more New Yorkers the chance to come and train with the Gotham team.”
G-Box’s 60-minute classes include a cardio warm-up (think: high knees and jumping jacks), shadowboxing and sparring with a partner to blast calories and tone the arms and core. The instructors teach proper form for jabs, punches, uppercuts and more boxing techniques.
