SO slim! Zach Galifianakis appears to have lost even more weight. The Hangover actor looked almost unrecognizable at the 2015 SAG Awards on Sunday, Jan. 25.
During the opening of the show, after stars like Robert Duvall and Jennifer Aniston shared their stories of becoming an actor, the star, whose face looked super thin in a Brooks Brothers suit, turned to the camera and joked: “I’m Zach Galifianakis…I’m an actor.”
Galifianakis, 45, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for his role in Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance, first debuted his weight loss this past October at the New York Film Festival in New York City.
During a 2013 interview with Conan, the funnyman revealed he started to drop the pounds after ditching booze.
“I stopped drinking and I just kind of put the weight off…I was having a lot of vodka with sausage…delicious but bad for you,” he explained. “I was getting into too much trouble with the drinking, so I just kind of stopped.”
“Zach is continuing to stay healthy,” a source close to Galifianakis tells Us. “People are really proud of him.”
