One happy family! Alex Rodriguez isn’t shy when it comes to sharing his love and adoration for his family and that includes girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, and her twins Emme and Max.
The 42-year-old retired MLB star took to Instagram on Saturday, May 19, to document a sweet moment with 10-year-old Max.
He captioned the pic using three simple hashtags: “#FeelingTheLove #GroupHug #FamilyTime.” Rodriguez is all smiles in the photo as he pulls Max in close — and the 48-year-old Shades of Blue actress was quick to swoon over it.
Shortly after the shot was posted, Lopez wrote, “my [heart],” accompanied by six emoji hearts. And she wasn’t the only one who felt the emotion, other commenters flocked to share their thoughts.
“These are the things that matter the most,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “nothing beats the love from a child and the love we give them.”
Rodriguez — who began dating Lopez in February 2017 — has been vocal about how their relationship has made a positive impact on the life of his daughter’s Natasha, 13, and Ella, 10, who he shares with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. In a September interview with Us Weekly, he dished on how his girls look up to Lopez.
“Their role model is Jen and how diverse she is in terms of the arts and her career,” he told Us at the time. “For them to be around their role model is so cool.”
The New York Yankees adviser also opened up about how his girls aspire to be like the “Jenny From the Block” singer.
“Both Natasha and Ella love to sing, they love the arts and all the production around it,” he said. “So for them it’s a huge thrill to be around one of the worlds greatest talents.”
