Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this! These days, American Idol finalist James Durbin has a much bigger cause for celebration than winning a reality show.
The 25-year-old pop rocker welcomed daughter Kinzee Cruz Durbin with his wife Heidi on Nov. 21. Less than a month later, the family of four, including Kinzee’s older brother Hunter, 5, posed for beautiful family portraits exclusive to Us Weekly.
The photos, which were taken by photographer Amber Stoddard and Shirley Henderson, feature the family in front of a black backdrop, cradling the tiny infant.
“Our world just got a little bigger,” Durbin tells Us. “Kinzee Cruz Durbin was born on Friday, Nov. 21 2014. We love to just stare at her and marvel at all her many faces and quirks. So far she’s quiet and sleeps through all our music making. Even our little rescue dog Thomas has a new purpose to protect her. Kinzee completes our family, and we couldn’t ask for a more beautiful present this Christmas season.”
