Pax Jolie-Pitt had some cool stories to share with his five siblings this morning. The 14-year-old hit the Golden Globes with mom Angelina Jolie in L.A. on Sunday, January 7.
The pair arrived shortly after the red carpet opened on Sunday, January 7, in matching black ensembles (she wore custom-made Atelier Versace, he chose a velvet tuxedo.) At one point Jolie, 42, stopped to fix Pax’s jacket. Once inside, the By the Sea director and her second-oldest child headed to their table, where they were greeted with name cards. His read Pax Jolie-Pitt, while hers said Angelina Jolie. (Jolie and Brad Pitt split in September 2016 after two years of marriage and 12 years together.)
During the show, Jolie, who presented Frances McDormand with the Golden Globe for best actress, chatted with seat mate Chris Hemsworth and took several laps around the room to chat with fellow attendees, an onlooker tells Us Weekly.
“Pax seemed very protective over his mom,” the onlooker told Us.
Jolie, who adopted Pax from Vietnam, once described him him as being a bit wild. “You know, like those punk rockers . . . when you really get to know them and they are just pussycats,” she told Anderson Cooper in 2011. “But at the same time, he is going to get into some kind of trouble.”
Jolie and Pitt, 54, also share Maddox, 16, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Pax and Maddox recently worked behind the scenes on Jolie’s Netflix film First They Killed My Father.
“None of my kids want to be actors,” she told Vanity Fair in June 2016. “They are actually very interested n being musicians. I think they like the process of film from the outside. Mad is interested in editing. Pax loves music and deejaying.”
