He's a dad! Armie Hammer and his wife Elizabeth Chambers Hammer have welcomed their first child, her rep confirms to Us Weekly. The couple's baby girl arrived on Monday, Dec. 1, and was delivered by Dr. Jay Goldberg.

Us confirmed in June that the Lone Ranger actor, 28, and Chambers were expecting. "They talk about having a couple, though they're thrilled with one now," an insider told Us at the time. "They treated their dog as a good warm-up."

Hammer also picked up some experience while reading Dr. Seuss' Oh, the Places You'll Go! at the Kids' Art Museum Project event at the Hammer Museum on May 18. He gushed to Us: "I'm practicing for when I do have kids."

The Social Network star and Chambers tied the knot in 2010, later talking about married life in a joint interview with Town & Country magazine in August 2013. "When we finally got together, Armie really wanted to get married," Chambers, who owns a bakery in Texas, said.

"He sat me down and said, 'Look, we don't have to do this. We could just go our own ways, and then one day you'll be 40 and divorced and we'll run into each other, and we'll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we'll wonder why we wasted all of that time," she continued. "Or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.'"

And so they have indeed enjoyed the ride. Days before welcoming their little one, the new mom was the guest of honor at a baby shower on Sunday, Nov. 9. "It was a beautiful evening full of love and joy," Chambers exclusively told Us of the celebration, held at a home in L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood. "It was the perfect shower and way to welcome baby Hammer into the world."
