He’s not raising any child stars. Ashton Kutcher says that Wyatt, his 22-month-old daughter with pregnant wife Mila Kunis, will be out of the public eye until she grows up — and so will her brother- or sister-to-be.
When Entertainment Tonight asked the Jobs actor, 38, if he would allow Wyatt to go into show business, he replied, “No. When it is a choice that she is making, then I think it is fine. … As long as it’s not a choice that she is making, it is my job to protect her from all this nonsense.”
The That ’70s Show costars, who are expecting their second child later this year, have kept Wyatt mostly out of the spotlight since welcoming her in October 2014. They have yet to share a photo of the little one’s face on social media.
Kunis, 33, recently opened up about raising her kids to be grounded, hardworking and respectful. “It’s so important because we both came from pretty solid poverty backgrounds and grew up very poor and are very much self-made and are very aware of what a dollar is worth,” she told The Kyle & Jackie O Show earlier this month. “Nothing’s been handed to us.”
“It’s a matter of teaching them from a very early age that, you know, ‘Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you’re poor,’” she joked. “‘You are very poor, you have nothing. Mommy and Daddy have a bank account.’”
The couple, who were friends for years but only began dating in 2012, tied the knot in July 2015 in a superprivate ceremony at the Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California.
