The 31-year-old Bachelorette alum spoke candidly to Us about some moms and dads overscheduling their kids in activities so early on.

“It’s because parents feel the pressure,” she told Us. “They think they have to put them in everything.”

And as for her 3-year-old son, Fordham, who she shares with husband J.P. Rosenbaum, she revealed that he’s been into athletics since he was just 15 months old.

“He’s a big sports kid innately, he loves football, soccer, baseball — all of it,” she gushed to Us. “My son is just like [J.P.] — he looks like him, acts like him.”

She continued: “I really love it because it gives us something fun to do on the weekends, we’re at soccer practice, swim practice, he’s in sports every day after school.”

But it’s not all fun and games. When it comes to the advice she’d give to moms who are feeling the strain of overdoing it, Hebert, who also has a daughter Essex, 1, urges them to take a step back and enjoy the moment.

“It’s honestly so hard,” she told Us. “When I first had my son I was that mom, [I thought] ‘I have to breastfeed, no formula, he has to be stimulated’ … his doctor said to me, ‘Ashley, give in a little, you’re trying to kill yourself and in the end your kids are going to see that stress on you.’ It’s the best thing I’ve heard parenting advice-wise,” she revealed. “Just give a little, let yourself be human, let yourself have hard days and good days, let yourself be.”

When asked if she and Rosenbaum — who completed a stint on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars in 2017 — are looking to add to their family, she responded: “No! [We have] a boy and girl, healthy and happy, we’re done! It’s perfect.”

Hebert and Rosenbaum met on The Bachelorette season 7 in 2011 and tied the knot in December 2012.
